Activate partnered with The Seam to design and build a scalable, multi-sided platform connecting consumers with local makers for garment repairs and alterations. We delivered the end-to-end product experience, built a full-stack platform supporting consumers, makers, and operations, and designed user flows optimised for trust and conversion. The platform was developed with flexibility in mind, enabling brand partnerships and white-label deployments, and we supported The Seam in hiring and onboarding their internal product team. Following launch, The Seam achieved 3× growth in monthly bookings and successfully closed a seed funding round to support further scale.
